The Star Central Learning Center is an important resource for our community. The goal of the Learning Center is to act as a non profit movie producer. We are actively seeking grants and sponsors to create films and grow our local film industry. Our mission is to give local film students and professionals the opportunity to tell their stories through their perspective!
Studio Highlights
Through the generous donations of our partners Leo Lighting Grip & Camera Rental and Intelia Films, the Star Central Learning Center has over $1,000,000 in motion picture production equipment and facilities. These facilities include: a 3000 square foot studio space with a 30x20 foot Cyclorama Wall, a working film set complete with props and furniture, a post-production center with 2 state of the art editing stations and a professional sound recording booth.
As the Star Central Learning Center grows, so will our local film industry; creating jobs, additional infrastructure and resources. With your help, local students and professionals will no longer have to leave El Paso to have access to industry standard equipment and work in the film industry, right here in the Borderland!
