The Pride of the Borderland
Star Central Studios Learning Center is a discovery and development facility aimed at helping the next generation of film makers tell their stores on screen. Proudly serving West Texas and Southern New Mexico, our studio features an operational movie set where students and professionals can access high end cameras, lenses, and lights. The goal is to give local filmmakers access to the same equipment used on big productions all over the world.

Equipment
Students and professionals can shoot with industry standard equipment. Filmmakers no longer have to leave El Paso to have access to the same resources used on big budget motion pictures.

Dream Suites
Star Central Studios is home to two premier digital editing and post-production suites and an audio recording booth, offering cutting edge, comprehensive, and state of the art equipment. Our editorial suites are equipped with Mac Pro, HPZ Workstation, Avid, and Adobe Creative Cloud. All Machines are capable of exporting out to Full HD, UHD, 4K, and beyond.

Screening Room (Coming Soon)
A classroom and screening room in one, students and professionals will soon be able to host both virtual and in person postproduction screening discussions. Our classroom will also be home to guest speakers, trainers, and industry professionals alike.

Studio
From music videos, photoshoots, feature films, and in-depth interviews, our studio space offers something for every visual artist from student to professional. Studio highlights include our various set designs and our 30 by 20-foot cyclorama infinity wall.

We united students with industry professionals to teach them the newest trends and techniques on the best equipment used on major film sets. Our outreach network includes the best in film,features, documentaries, lighting, sound, and beyond.
