The workshops at Star Central Studios offer something for the storyteller in everyone. The summer camps and workshops are crafted to help students build upon their natural talents and abilities and approach these crafts in a more refined, skilled way. Programs are available for youth, teens, and adults, with a comprehensive approach to all facets of film.

Student Produced Content

Business Solutions

In partnership with Workforce Solutions Borderplex, students produced a :30 Public Service Annoucement (PSA) to promote the Business Solutions program. The program offers a variety of services to local business to help find quality employees and train individuals to thrive in the workforce, all free of cost. Students wrote, directed, and acted in the PSA.

  • Our workshop is open to filmmakers of all levels — from beginners with no prior experience to students and independent filmmakers looking to refine their skills. Start where you are, and let us guide you towards your knowledge of film learning.

  • Participants will gain hands-on experience in key areas of filmmaking, including screenwriting, directing, cinematography, writing, wardrobe, sound, editing, and production planning.

  • No. Equipment is all provided!

  • We offer four hour and eight hour workshops. We offer one day, weekend, or extended learning workshops, with a mix of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on group projects.

  • No prior experience is required. Whether you’re completely new to film or already have some background, our workshop is designed to meet you at your skill level.

  • Classes start at $50 per person. Discounts are available for groups larger than 10.
